Winter MathPlay — in person!
MoMath’s program for preschoolers
Six-week session for pre-K students (4- and 5-year-olds)
Led by an experienced MoMath educator, MathPlay offers children the opportunity to play well-developed games that help broaden math skills, improve problem-solving techniques, fine-tune motor coordination, and enhance communication and social skills. Give your child every chance of success — recent studies have shown that early development of math skills can be a strong predictor of future school achievement.
Note that these are in-person classes at the National Museum of Mathematics at 11 East 26th Street in NYC.
All times listed below are in Eastern Time (New York).
Adult registration is not required, but a caregiver must be present during each session. Siblings who are not registered for the program may not attend MathPlay sessions.
Each session will run only if a minimum number of participants register before its start date. If a particular session is cancelled, registrants will be notified and provided with the option to receive a full refund.
Note that masks must be worn at all times inside the Museum and that all visitors ages 12 and older must show show proof of having received at least two COVID-19 vaccine doses (unless they have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine), while visitors ages 5 to 11 must show proof of having received at least one dose (photocopies of vaccination cards will not be accepted).
MoMath reserves the right to cancel the registration of any student who does not meet the age requirement of the class or does not abide by MoMath’s program policies; cancelled registrations will not be eligible for refunds or credits.
Be sure to read all Educational Program Policies prior to registration.
