The Museum of Mathematics traveling exhibition, the Math Midway, is featured on the cover of this month’s issue of MAA Focus, the monthly magazine of the Mathematical Association of America.

The Museum of Mathematics has started a new blog, Math Mondays, which made its debut appearance today on the Make: Blog. The first entry, George Hart’s “Mathematically Correct Breakfast”, has attracted immediate attention, and generated great exposure for the museum.

The Museum of Mathematics has added two new trustees: Duane Adams and Stephen Wolfram. Adams is emeritus Vice Provost for Research at Carnegie Mellon University. Wolfram is the founder and CEO of Wolfram Research, creator of the Mathematica symbolic mathematics software.

The New York State Board of Regents has unanimously approved The Museum of Mathematics charter. The Museum is well on its way to redefining the way people experience mathematics.

The Math Midway is coming to the New York Hall of Science. From February 6 to April 18, 2010, visitors will be able to experience the world of mathematics through the exhibition’s 20+ interactive exhibits. Come down and see for yourself!
