MoMath Mini-Camps

Monday, October 10

Come join MoMath for in-person mini-camps on Monday, October 10.  Through interactive theme-based lessons and creative hands-on projects, math will come alive for each and every participant!

In-Person Mini-Camps

“Powers of Ten”

Big numbers like 10^10 = 10,000,000,000 are quite common in the world — there are almost that many people living on Earth today!  A number like 10^10 isn’t even that huge mathematically (it’s easy to write down as many 0s as we want).  But how big IS a number like that, really?  Can you actually imagine 10^10 things (or even 1,000 things)?  We will try!  Through hands-on activities and fun projects, join us to stretch your mind out to the end of the Universe!

These sessions are appropriate for students in grades 1–3 and grades 4–6, respectively.

Note: Please register each camper separately.
