2025 Strogatz Prize for Math Communication

Application Submission Instructions
- Begin your application by registering your project as soon as possible. If you are collaborating with a small team to submit a group project, each teammate must submit their own registration form. You may continue to develop your project after you register until the final deadline of April 23, 2025. In the interim, MoMath will reach out occasionally to provide support and encouragement.

@MuseumofMathematics - Email your completed project before April 23, 2025.
- Send the following items to strogatzprize@momath.org, with the subject line: “[YOUR NAME] – Strogatz Prize entry.” Do not include your name or other identifying information in the project (projects are judged anonymously).
- A brief essay describing your project and how it promotes math communication and celebrates the universality of math. (Please answer in 300 words or fewer.)
- Your math communication project (as attachment, weblink, YouTube link, or PDF; not as a Google doc) from one of the following categories:
- Art
- Audio (maximum length: 4 minutes)
- Performance (maximum length: 4 minutes; if your audio or video is a performance, please submit in this category)
- Social media (include the full feed plus 3 featured posts that are representative of the work)
- Video (maximum length 4 minutes)
- Writing (maximum length 10 pages; send as attachment, not as a Google doc or part of a website)
- Note: By submitting your entry, you understand and agree that you are granting the National Museum of Mathematics an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute (commercially or otherwise), or publicly display your work, or to use it for any other purpose, at the Museum’s sole discretion.
All submissions must be sent electronically and in English.
