6:30 pm to 7:30 pm ET
(online)
Did you ever wonder what a mathematician does all day? Or what made someone decide to become a mathematician? Or even, what a mathematician does for fun? You may be surprised by some of the answers!
Join David Reimann, MoMath’s 2024–2025 Visiting Professor for Public Outreach, as he welcomes mathematician Dr. Stephanie Edwards to the MoMath stage to share her experiences, her stories, and her love of mathematics.
Dr. Stephanie Edwards, professor and chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Hope College, specializes in complex function theory and connects mathematics with other disciplines, including art. She mentors students presenting research at national conferences and serves as past president of Pi Mu Epsilon, inspiring undergraduate mathematicians across the country.
