As a professor at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, he explores how math shapes the way we protect information, from ancient ciphers to modern encryption. He’s also the author of The Mathematics of Secrets: Cryptography from Caesar Ciphers to Digital Encryption, a deep dive into the fascinating world of secret codes and the math that makes them work.
