Back by popular demand, Dr. Tim Chartier, mathematician, mime, and puppeteer, shares his newest mathematical puppet show.  Tim has performed and taught puppetry at national and international levels; he also developed a mathematical puppet show during his time as the 2022-2023 Distinguished Visiting Professor for the Public Dissemination of Mathematics at MoMath.  Don’t miss your chance to experience the live show and to see some of his newly developed work for video in its first-ever public viewing.  After the show, Tim will share insights about how mathematical thinking is used in puppetry — and you’ll even learn some of the basics of being a puppeteer!
