MoMath Mini-Camp:
"What’s in a Game?" (Grades 6 – 9)

Wednesday, December 29
9:30 am to 3:30 pm ET (New York)

(online)

We all love to play board and card games, but there's quite a bit involved in creating one!  In this interactive, intensive workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of game design, with an eye toward mathematical strategy gaming.  We will study the six parts of a game, winning and non-losing strategies, and the game design process.  Participants will play, modify, create, and test in a collaborative, guided setting.  Take your love of tabletop games to the next level!

Each mini-camp will run only if a minimum number of participants registers.  If a particular mini-camp is cancelled, registrants will be notified and provided with the option to (1) switch to a different session, if possible; (2) credit the amount paid to a future session; or (3) receive a full refund.
