MathPlay for Pentagons (5s):
"Spring Patterns: Describe, Extend, Create"
Tuesday, May 25 at 5:45 pm ET (New York)
Patterns — action patterns, word patterns, shape patterns — are everywhere. Students will learn how to identify, describe, and extend patterns. Students will sequence pictures of butterflies, bumblebees, ladybugs, flowers, and umbrellas to create different types of patterns.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to print and cut prior to session) and a glue stick.
