Math Discovery:
"Tied in Knot Theory"
(in-person)
Join us for an introduction to the mathematical theory of knots. By tangling and untangling seemingly simple knots, discover what it means for knots to be, topologically, the same or different. Explore the types of problems that tie up the minds of knot theorists! For students in grades four through eight and their families/caregivers.
Limited space available.
