QED: Pitfalls for Parents
Wednesday, January 26 at 7:00 pm ET (New York)
(online)
Free to members!
Parents, join Distinguished Visiting Professor Steven Strogatz for an hour of math learning, designed with you in mind. Starting with the basics, we'll explore — and learn to leap right over — some of the most common stumbling blocks in K–12 math. Anything that you or your child ever found confusing is fair game!
This week, Steve is joined by special guest Sendy Keenan, a teacher at the Brooklyn School for Math and Research, an NYS master teacher, and a master teacher in the Math for America program.
This is an online-only event. Occasional video recordings are made available for a fee at videos.momath.org.
