MathPlay for Rhombuses (4s):
"Summer Patterns: Describe, Extend, Create"
Wednesday, June 9 at 3:00 pm ET (New York)
Patterns — action patterns, word patterns, shape patterns — are everywhere. Students will learn how to identify, describe, and extend patterns. Students will sequence pictures of watermelons, flip flops, sand buckets, and beach umbrellas to create different types of patterns.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to print and cut prior to session), a marker or pencil, and a glue stick.
