MathPlay for Rhombuses (4s):
"Spring Patterns: Describe, Extend, Create"
Monday, May 3 at 3:00 pm ET (New York)
Patterns — action patterns, word patterns, shape patterns — are everywhere. Students will learn how to identify, describe, and extend patterns. Students will sequence pictures of butterflies, flowers, ladybugs, and umbrellas to create different types of patterns.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to print and cut prior to session), a marker or pencil, and a glue stick.
