Online MoMath Mini-Camp:
Two + Two = One
Thursday, April 1
10:00 am to 3:00 pm ET (New York)
Grades 2 to 4
Is ten plus seven always seventeen? Well, no. On a clock, ten plus seven is five. Learn about this and other examples of modular arithmetic, where the numbers never get too big and rules of mathematics are changed. Explore how modular arithmetic interacts with other math concepts such as fractions and prime numbers, and how it can be used to solve famous mathematical puzzles. Join us on an adventure into this alternative world of math!
This is the registration for Two + Two = One on Thursday, April 1, for grades 2 to 4. To register for a different day, grade level, or session, visit minicamp.momath.org.
