MathPlay for Rhombuses (4s):
"Winter Patterns: Describe, Extend, Create"
Monday, February 22 at 3:00 pm ET (New York)
Patterns — action patterns, word patterns, shape patterns — are everywhere. Students will learn how to identify, describe, and extend patterns. Students will sequence pictures of snowmen, snowflakes, hats, and cups of hot chocolate to create different types of patterns.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to print and cut prior to session), a marker or pencil, and a glue stick.
