Don’t let the multiplication symbol intimidate your child! Multiplication can be performed as repeated addition. It can be understood as adding equal groups together. Students will solve problems such as the following: A butterfly has two wings. How many wings do four butterflies have?
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to be printed prior to session) and one marker or pencil.
