Math Discovery:
"Tied in Knot Theory"

Friday, June 2 at 4:15 pm ET

(in-person)

Join us for an introduction to the mathematical theory of knots.  By tangling and untangling seemingly simple knots, discover what it means for knots to be, topologically, the same or different.  Explore the types of problems that tie up the minds of knot theorists!  For students in grades 4 through 8 and their families/caregivers.

Limited space available.

The event fee covers this 45-minute session.  To explore the Museum before the session, purchase general admission tickets at visit.momath.org.  All students must be accompanied by an adult and everyone must register.  Because you are registering multiple people, please click "Continue" after you complete the registration page to enter the additional registration information.
