Math Discovery:
"Secrets of Telling Secrets"
(in person)
Explore cryptography, secret codes, and ciphers. Join us for this introduction to the substitution cipher, which hides messages by replacing letters or groups of letters with other letters or groups of letters. Using patterns and perseverance, learn how to create hidden messages — and how to break secret codes! For students in grades 3 through 6 and their families/caregivers.
Limited space available.
Masks must be worn at all times inside the Museum.
The event fee covers this 45-minute session. In addition to the registration fee, attendees of this in-person event must pay General Admission to the Museum.
