Math Discovery:
"Tessellation Station"

Friday, August 19 at 4:00 pm ET (New York)

(in person)

From nature to art to architecture, tessellations — or tiling patterns — offer a creative way to understand geometry.  Using the symmetries of polygons, discover surprising and beautiful patterns as you learn about infinite tessellations.  For students in grades kindergarten through two and their families/caregivers.

Limited space available.

Masks must be worn at all times inside the Museum and all visitors ages five and up must show acceptable proof of full vaccination (two doses) against COVID-19.  (MoMath does not accept digital images or photocopies of vaccination cards.)

The event fee covers this 45-minute session.  To enter and visit the Museum before or after the session, purchase general admission tickets at visit.momath.org.  All students must be accompanied by an adult, and everyone must register.  Because you are registering multiple people, please click "Continue" after you complete the registration page to enter the additional registration information.
