Join MoMath's 2022–2023 Distinguished Visiting Professor Tim Chartier and author Peter Farrell for a lively discussion of Farrell's Math Adventures with Python.

Do you enjoy math and coding?  Embark with Tim Chartier and Peter Farrell, author of Math Adventures with Python, on a mathematical adventure highlighting the joys of coding with Python.  Roll up your sleeves to try your hand at a project from the book with Peter as your guide, and discover how to use coding to learn mathematics.  Peter Farrell was a math teacher for 15 years and was inspired by real-world applications of the math topics he taught.  When Peter learned to code, he set himself on a path that would lead to teaching and coaching young learners in computer science.

This is an online-only event; all registrants will be participating remotely.  Occasional video recordings are made available for a fee at videos.momath.org.

Participants should read Math Adventures with Python ahead of the event.
