Math Encounters:
"Hidden Treasures: the shape of multiplication"

featuring Federico Ardila Mantilla

Wednesday, September 7 at 7:00 pm ET (New York)

(online)

You probably had to memorize the multiplication table at some point in your life, but you may not have noticed that there are two beautiful shapes hiding within.  Join mathematician Federico Ardila Mantilla as he helps us discover these hidden polyhedra and shares some other unexpected places where they also — surprisingly — appear.

This is a live-streamed broadcast of an in-person event.  Occasional video recordings are made available for a fee at videos.momath.org.

This page is for the 7:00 pm ET (New York) live-streamed session.  Click here to register for an in-person session or for the 4:00 pm ET (New York) session instead.
