Recording of "The Astounding Mathematics of Lines in Circles"

This is a recording of a live-streamed event that took place on Thursday, May 7.

Appropriate for all ages.

Join MoMath favorite James Tanton to explore a classic puzzle, presented wordlessly.  One, of course, is meant to guess that the next number in the pattern below is 32, and then second-guess oneself and suspect not.  (How many pieces do you actually get if you use lines to connect six dots placed on a circle?)  Let's spend an hour playing, doodling, and exploring the astounding mathematics of drawing lines — straight or bendy — within circles.  Just come with pencil, paper, and an open brain!  All ages welcome.
