Hosted by Ingrid Daubechies, MoMath’s 2023–2024 Distinguished Visiting Professor for the Public Dissemination of Mathematics, this month’s Tween Primes will feature Shine On, Luz Véliz! by Rebecca Balcárcel.

A beautiful coming-of-age story for fans of Front Desk and Merci Suárez Changes Gears, this book celebrates identity, language, heritage, family, and the determination to follow one’s own inner light.

All are welcome to attend the book club discussion.  For the fullest experience, participants are encouraged to read the book in advance of the event.

Note: General admission to the Museum is NOT included with your event ticket.  If you would like to explore the Museum before the session begins, you may purchase an admission ticket or join as a MoMath member.
