"Bewildering Symmetry… with Origami Collages!"
Friday, June 23 at 6:30 pm ET
If you've ever done origami, you'll know all about symmetry. Except… well… not really! Origami professional Paul Jackson has developed a genre of folding paper squares or rectangles just once, twice, or four times, then combining a number of folded sheets together in symmetrical arrangements to create utterly baffling illusions of interleaving layers and planes that somehow, you can never quite explain. These collages are not only fascinating, but also incredibly beautiful. Learn the basics and leave with your own newly created, unique work of art!
