Don’t let the multiplication symbol intimidate your child! Multiplication can be performed as repeated addition. It can be understood as adding equal groups together. Students will solve problems such as the following: A rabbit has two ears. How many ears do five rabbits have?
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to be printed prior to session) and one marker or pencil.
