Education plays an important role in social justice and equity.  Join Distinguished Visiting Professor Tim Chartier and special guest Dr. Nathan Alexander, assistant professor of data science and interdisciplinary studies at Morehouse College, as they discuss what we can do in the classroom and at home to promote social justice and equity via mathematics.  How can we foster a sense of empowerment regarding mathematics as a tool for social justice?
