Introduction to Tinkercad
(3D modeling software)

Teens and tweens, ever wanted to turn your ideas into a 3D print?  Learn how to use Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly 3D modeling software, to create models of everyday objects that can be "read" by 3D printers.  In this online workshop, you will navigate the Tinkercad environment to build simple models, including your own personalized keychain, which can be printed and attached to backpacks, lanyards, or keyrings!  Thanks to a generous grant provided by Rutgers Makerspace, these prints will be provided to students at no additional cost.  Participants must have a laptop or desktop computer with Internet access, and preferably a mouse.  This workshop is appropriate for students in grades 4 to 7. 

The first 20 registrants will get free 3D printing — be sure to register soon!  Later registrants will receive files that they can print at their own cost.
