MathPlay for Triangles (3s):
"Shapes"
Thursday, March 18 at 3:00 pm ET (New York)
Children will practice identifying shapes and counting their sides. Given a shape, students will pick out matching shapes from a colorful assortment. Children will count the shapes in drawings of a train and a house and determine which shape appears the most and least in each. Songs will be sung and a shape story read.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided and a crayon or marker.
