"Subtraction Basics"
Tuesday, January 12 at 4:00 pm ET (New York)
Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of subtraction and use number lines and pictures of snowmen, snowflakes, mittens, and hats to support their subtraction problem-solving. They will determine whether given subtraction equations are true or false and be challenged to tackle some winter-themed subtraction word problems.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to print prior to session) and one marker or pencil.
