A polygon is — no, not a baby frog — any two-dimensional shape with straight sides. Students will sort shapes into polygons and non-polygons. They will look at images of everyday objects and determine which polygons they most closely resemble.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to be printed prior to session) and one marker or pencil.
