MathPlay for Triangles (3s):
"Sorting and Matching Shapes"
Monday, November 16 at 10:00 am ET (New York)
Children will practice identifying shapes and counting their sides. Given a shape, students will pick out matching shapes from a colorful assortment. They will sort shapes and compare numbers of each. Songs will be sung and shape stories will be read.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to print prior to session) and one crayon or pencil.
