Google, Siri, Watson, and others use math to build computational models of language for speech recognition, spelling correction, and more. Join us as Google's Director of Research, Peter Norvig, demonstrates the surprising fact that while some applications rely on sophisticated mathematics, many applications are based on the simple 1-2-3 counting you used in kindergarten. Peter will have a special introduction by Alfred Spector, Vice President of Research and Special Initiatives at Google, Inc.
