Daily Sessions
Each session is repeated during the week to accommodate different schedules; choose the date and time that works best for you! Please note that sessions by the same name are repeated sessions, not continuations of earlier sessions.
After you register for your 30-minute session, you will be sent a link and instructions so you may join the fun through a video conferencing platform.
Sessions Themes
MathPlay Mini’s online sessions offer several inspiring, mathematical themes for children ages three to five.
Great Than, Less Than, Equal To (3-year-olds)
There’s a hungry alligator looking for a snack — will she want five apples or three? Students will learn all about greater than, less than, and equal symbols as they help the alligator choose how much she wants to eat.
Materials needed: activity sheets (will be provided to print prior to session) and one marker or crayon.
Tens and Ones (4- and 5-year-olds)
What do the numbers 11 through 19 have in common? Using ten frames and number bonds, students will discover how these special numbers can each be made up of a ten and some ones.
Materials needed: activity sheets (will be provided to print prior to session) and one marker or crayon.
