Students will experience the richness of mathematics with America’s premier museum dedicated to math. Through interactive education sessions, creative projects, and supervised independent activities, math will come alive for each and every participant.
The Museum offers a mixed-ages camp with attentive counselors at every level. The Epsilons level for rising first through third graders focuses on helping students cultivate a love for mathematics. The Deltas level for rising fourth through sixth graders allows campers to fully explore their mathematical interests. And the Gammas level for rising seventh through ninth graders provides a deep dive into advanced mathematical knowledge and skills.

MoMath’s talented staff will keep campers engaged and entertained with grade-appropriate activities, and the program’s curriculum will feature interactive learning in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Whether your camper is already passionate about mathematics or just starting to explore its wonders, Transformations will expose your camper to cool areas of mathematics not covered in school and stoke the flames for a lifelong appreciation of mathematics.
Transformations 2026 offers many different themes across one-week sessions (Monday through Friday). The camp day starts at 9:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Families may sign up for extended-day options for pickup or dismissal anytime before 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm. Due to the popularity and small size of the program, early registration is recommended.
Camper Sections
Campers will be divided into two sections for age- and grade-appropriate instruction:
Epsilons (for students entering 1st through 3rd grade in fall 2026)
Deltas (for students entering 4th through 6th grade in fall 2026)
Gammas (for students entering 7th through 9th grade in fall 2026)
Attentive camp counselors ensure a fun learning experience. Our small section sizes encourage individualized instruction and allow opportunities for campers to explore and gain a deeper understanding of mathematics.
Registration
Each camp theme extends across a one-week session, from Monday through Friday. The regular camp day begins at 9:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm, and is hosted at MoMath, located at 635 Sixth Avenue (New York City). Each theme is specially designed for specific camp sections and may not be available to all age groups.
Note: Please register each camper separately. Registration for Gammas will become available once the number of weeks this level will run has been determined.

Theme Descriptions
Themes for Transformations 2026 have not yet been finalized.
Weekly themes for Summer 2026 are coming soon — register now to secure your spot, and check out last year’s themes for a preview of the kind of hands-on math adventures you can expect.
3D Art (for Epsilons and Deltas)
Explore geometry as you build with four-dimensional blocks, fit together world-record-breaking tiling puzzles, and assemble your own exotic paper shapes. Create 3D (and 4D!) sculptures while playing with the magic of shape and space!
Number Hunt (for Epsilons and Deltas)
Embark on a thrilling mathematical adventure! Explore the concept of infinity, dive into the Fibonacci sequence, and discover the fascinating world of very large numbers. While visualizing numbers in unexpected ways, uncover numerical patterns and learn how numbers function inside computers as you spend a week becoming a mathematical detective.
Sail by the Stars (for Epsilons and Deltas)
Did you know you can always work out where you are on earth with just a clock, a clear sky, and a little math? For thousands of years, people have navigated the Earth by looking at the stars. Sail away on an imaginary voyage and learn the mathematics behind traveling on land, at sea, and even in outer space!
Between the Dimensions (for Epsilons and Deltas)
Have you ever wondered how mathematicians think about dimensions? Enjoy mysterious and mind-bending projects as you explore fascinating objects with dimensions greater than three — or even between two and three! Discover amazing fractals and see how they challenge our ideas about length, area, and volume.
Captivating Cryptography (for Epsilons and Deltas)
Gdkkn Bncdaqdzjdqr! Cryptography is the area of mathematics that allows us to send and unravel secret messages. Explore ciphers and hidden messages while practicing encryption and decryption. Discover how numerical tricks can keep our secrets safe and learn how to make (and break!) secret codes as you learn the math of keeping secrets.
Camp Policies
Strictly no refunds, no credits, and no transfers will be permitted. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All registered campers must sign a photograph permission and release form. Be sure to read MoMath Camp Policies prior to registration.
