MoMath x Code4NYC

For ages 11–14

Fridays, July 10 through July 31
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
(in person+drop-off)

MoMath and Code4NYC invite middle school students to explore the fundamentals of coding in this beginner-friendly, four-week workshop.  Students will learn core programming concepts such as strings, variables, and lists while building confidence in problem-solving and computational thinking.  No prior coding experience is required, and no software installation is needed; students will work in a web editor using their own laptops.

Attendance
Students are encouraged to attend all four sessions, but MoMath and Code4NYC understand that summer schedules can be complicated.  If a student will be traveling or otherwise needs to miss a session, opportunities to make up the session online may be available, or make-up modules will be provided.

Scholarship
Those with financial need may request a scholarship by emailing scholarships@momath.org.
