Origami Frog Tongue

Saturday, March 8
2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
(in person)

Hop on over to the National Museum of Mathematics this Saturday to fold an origami Frog Tongue — an easy-to-make model that extends, retracts, and mimics a type of mathematical origami used in real life, from space engineering to medical technology.  Admire other collapsible origami models, or as a challenge, find the mathematical connections to other exhibits around the museum.  Model inspired by @jeremyshaferorigami.

Origami Frog Tongue is available only on the following day: Saturday, March 8, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  Free with general admission or as a MoMath member.
