Collaboration is at the very core of the museum, so please take some time to share your thoughts, comments and ideas.
I’m glad the legacy of Bernie Goudreau is being continued!

Hi Math Museum folks,
I really enjoyed Erik Demaine’s lecture/slide show last Thursday evening. I am a computer teacher in Brooklyn. I’m looking forward to the next two events in this series.
Thanks for the work that you are doing.

My son and I LOVED the Math Walking tour!
Mr. Whitney dovetailed fundamental principles of mathematics with the sculptures at the Hirshorn Sculpture garden and common things visible at the National Mall in easily understood terms. My son was intrigued with everything Mr. Whitney did. Alex particularly enjoyed the demonstrations using hand held objects (ellipse and circle), using simple tools (sextant, ruler) to deduce the height of the Washington Monument and Capital Building. In short, it brought math and math principles into three dimensions and that is is all around us in daily life. The “hidden” pentagon and the explanation was very interesting too.
Thank you very much and I hope the Musuem of Mathematics (momath) continues to participate in the Festival and provide this excellent Tour.

As a proud Termesphere owner, I’ll vouch for the beauty and mathematical wonder of Dick’s amazing artwork. Beyond their absolutely unique visual immersion, as a visitor-draw they can’t be beat.

Thanks for your comment. Current plans for the Museum include an art gallery for temporary exhibits of mathematical art, and we hope to display a wide range of artworks.
