Math Monday: Large Stars
by George Hart

Jim Watters suggests weaving together thirty dowels, so you can make it fairly large if you want. The connectors are made from short lengths of rubber tubing that have been sewn together at the tip. This makes it easy to assemble, disassemble, transport, store, and reassemble. What other star polyhedra can you make with this technique?
