Tensegrity is a way of building things that lets you design mind-bending three-dimensional structures with support beams that mutually suspend each other with only the help of rope or wire.  Build up from the basics and stretch your geometric intuition to create fascinating symmetric forms. This hands-on activity won two ribbons at the 2014 Maker Faire, and it might just change the way you think about structure.
