MoMath Mini-Camp: “Powers of Ten”
(Grades 1–3)

Monday, October 10
9:30 am to 12:00 pm ET (New York)

(in person)

Big numbers like 10^10 = 10,000,000,000  are quite common in the world — there are almost that many people living on Earth today!  A number like 10^10 isn’t even that huge mathematically (it’s easy to write down as many 0s as we want).  But how big IS a number like that, really?  Can you actually imagine 10^10 things (or even 1,000 things)?  We will try!  Through hands-on activities and fun projects, join us to stretch your mind out to the end of the Universe!

Each mini-camp will run only if a minimum number of participants registers.  If a particular mini-camp is cancelled, registrants will be notified and provided with the option to (1) switch to a different session, if possible; (2) credit the amount paid to a future session; or (3) receive a full refund.

Masks must be worn at all times inside the Museum.
