Math Discovery:
"Tessellation Station"

(in person)

From nature to art to architecture, tessellations — or tiling patterns — offer a creative way to understand geometry.  Using the symmetries of polygons, discover surprising and beautiful patterns as you learn about infinite tessellations.  For students in grades kindergarten through two and their families/caregivers.

Limited space available.

Note that masks must be worn at all times inside the Museum and that all visitors ages 5 and older must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (photocopies of vaccination cards will not be accepted).

The event fee covers this 45-minute session.  To enter and visit the Museum before or after the session, purchase general admission tickets at visit.momath.org.  All students must be accompanied by an adult, and everyone must register.
