Math Discovery:
"Secrets of Telling Secrets"

Wednesday, October 27 at 4:15 pm ET (New York)

(in-person)

Explore cryptography, secret codes, and ciphers.  Join us for this introduction to the substitution cipher, which hides messages by replacing letters or groups of letters with other letters or groups of letters.  Using patterns and perseverance, learn how to create hidden messages — and how to break secret codes!   For students in grades 3 through 6 and their families/caregivers.

Special offer!  Limited space available.

Note that masks are required to be worn at all times inside the Museum and that all visitors ages 12 and older must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (photocopies of vaccination cards will not be accepted).

The event fee covers this 45-minute session.  To enter and visit the Museum before or after this session, purchase general admission tickets at visit.momath.org.  All students must be accompanied by an adult and everyone must register.
