Math Gems

single session
(of an eight-week minicourse)

Tuesday, March 8 at 6:30 pm ET (New York)

(in person)

In the Math Gems eight-week minicourse, Distinguished Visiting Professor Steven Strogatz will show you eight of the most beautiful gems in the history of math — clever calculations, nifty numbers, ingenious proofs, and the stories behind them, from cultures around the world — and then invite you to jump in and play with some engaging puzzles based on these jewels of mathematics.

Steve is a Professor of Applied Mathematics from Cornell University and an award-winning mathematician who will bring to the MoMath audience his unique brand of mathematical discourse, as featured in the New York Times blog and several popular books, including New York Times bestseller Infinite Powers.

You are registering for a single session in this minicourse.  To sign up for the entire eight-week minicourse at a discounted rate, click here.

Please note that all program registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
