"Counting and Ordering: Numbers on the Number Line"
Monday, February 22 at 10:00 am ET (New York)
Three-year-olds will have fun counting: snowflakes and snowmen, mittens and hats. Even a cup of hot chocolate or two (or four!). They will match counts to positions on a number line. Children will practice identifying which numbers come before and after a given number. Denise Fleming's story The First Day of Winter will give students a chance to further cement their counting skills.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to be printed prior to session) and one marker or pencil.
