What can children create from shapes such as crescents and trapezoids? An angry bull? A fantastic fish? Students will combine shapes creatively while learning the names of polygons and non-polygons. In Joyce Hesselberth's story Shape Shift, students will see the diversity of images that can be made from pairs of different shapes.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to be printed and cut prior to session), a marker or pencil, two sheets of copy paper, and a glue stick for class.
