What is the difference between an odd number and an even number? What happens when you add odd and even numbers together? Children will explore these questions — and help Newton the dog organize his bones — as they classify numbers as odd or even. They will discover that an even number of items can be matched in pairs while an odd number cannot.
Materials needed: activity sheets to be provided (to print and cut prior to session) and one marker or pencil.
