How much is a whole? What is a half? By dividing favorite foods into parts of equal size, children will explore the world of fractions. Then they’ll make paper pizzas with different combinations of toppings — 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 mushroom, anyone?
Materials needed: activity sheet to be provided (to print prior to session) and one marker or crayon.
