Come learn how you can become a serious contender for the 2014 Rosenthal Prize for Innovation in Math Teaching.

The annual Rosenthal Prize for Innovation in Math Teaching recognizes and promotes hands-on math teaching in the upper elementary and middle school classrooms by awarding $25,000 for an innovative math activity and sharing the winning lesson with educators throughout the country.

The application workshop will take place at MoMath on Monday, April 28 from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm.  Experienced judges will share their observations and feedback from past contests, and will answer questions from current applicants.  Light refreshments will be provided.  For those who cannot attend in person, the workshop will be streamed online.  When you register, please indicate whether you are planning to attend in person or online.

Interested teachers are encouraged to begin the application process today, and to register for the workshop below.  The deadline to submit preliminary applications is Friday, May 9, and applicants are welcome to edit their submissions until that date.
