Calculus for Kids!

The basic ideas of calculus are very simple — and surprisingly accessible at young ages. Led by mathematician Alex Kontorovich, children who are proficient in fractions are invited to discover some of the exciting ideas underlying one of the greatest discoveries of the human mind.
Prerequisite: Children should be proficient in fractions (including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions).
Please bring a writing utensil and notebook/notepad/paper.

This is an in-person event at the National Museum of Mathematics, located at 225 Fifth Avenue, in Manhattan. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the event start time to check in and be seated.
Online registration may close 30-60 minutes prior to the start of the session.
Please note that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone, and each person must be registered.
